Robert Lovell Murdoch (born January 29, 1954 in Cranbrook, British Columbia) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 260 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the California Golden Seals, Cleveland Barons, and St. Louis Blues. He played junior with the Cranbrook Colts in 1972-73 and then with the senior Cranbrook Royals in 1973-74. Undrafted by the NHL, Murdoch signed as a free agent with the Oakland Seals in 1974. In the NHL, Murdoch played in 260 games and scored 72 goals and 85 assists.

Murdoch played with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles in 1974-75 and then enjoyed three very productive seasons with the Seals/Cleveland Barons franchise. He scored 59 goals over these three seasons. When the Barons merged with the Minnesota North Stars Murdoch was claimed by the St. Louis Blues, with whom he played in 1978-79. Murdoch played until 1982 in the minor pro and senior ranks. In the NHL, Murdoch played in 260 games and scored 72 goals and 85 assists.
