Maces of destruction are a type of one-handed weapons in ADOM. Such maces are distinguishable from regular maces by their weight (with the sole exception of hefty iron maces). A mace of destruction is an example of a 'naturally suffixed' weapon. Maces of destruction have typical stats of (+2, 5d6+6); although variations of this may often occur.

Desirability
| - Maces of destruction are very powerful and sturdy one-handed weapons — with raw power equivalent to the artifact Executor, and roughly on par with swords of sharpness. Note that their damage output — as long as they are not generated as 5d6+9 or smithed — is inferior to Big Punch. Unlike artifacts and other weapons with generic suffixes, maces of destruction can be wished for — which is very helpful for well-protected PCs that have a wish to spare, but no efficient means to slay monsters. As maces of destruction are made of adamantium, they cannot be rusted and are much more resilient to item destruction than most weapons. They can still be lost against elemental attacks or annihilators/eyes of destruction .
