In the aftermath of the Third Global War, many established governments fell. Britain, groaning under massive reparations suffered massive hyperinflation. The monarchy was overthrown in 1893, and a new Republic of Great Britain and Ireland proclaimed. This republic had a centralized administration, destroying the autonomy of Scotland and Ireland, and highly Anglocentric. Long-simmering ethnic strife exploded to the fore. Ireland declared independence, soon to be followed by Scotland. Scotland invited Princess Maria Theresa of Rhineland (wife of the Rhinelandish prince Ludwig, later King Ludwig II, and heir to the Stuart claim) to be Queen of Scots. The British government in London threatened to invade the breakaway nations, but a coalition of the victorious powers forced them to back down.

  • In the aftermath of the Third Global War, many established governments fell. And so, London was forced to acknowledge the independence of Scotland and Ireland. Afterwards, the nation was renamed the Second English Commonwealth. In the various nations of the defeated St. Petersburg league there were many rebellions supported by the Grand alliance.the largest of these were in Russia where the Mensheviks were able to take command of St. Petersburg for a week before they were forced out of the city by the Imperial armies. in China nationalist leader General Li Yuanhong replaced the weak emperor with a revolutionary council.Soon after the revolution there was good relationship between the China and Japan but when China demanded the return of Manchuria Japan refused out of hand and frosty relationship began between the two powers. China's relationship with Russia once again became warmer when Russia Emperor Nicolas 1 in 1901 supported the return of Manchuria back to China. In India there were many revolts by the Rajputs in north India over a series of years against the Russians. the Russians unable to follow the Ottoman model of mass executions decided to get rid of the problem the by moving the entire Rajput population to central Asia.in France the Bask continued to cause problem to the french so to end the problem the french took a page out of the Russian book and moved the entire bask to the African colony of Algeria. Princess Maria Theresa agreed to the invitation on the advice of her husband, and on the condition that they become co-rulers. And so, on March 1, 1897, Princess Maria Theresa and Prince Ludwig became Queen Mary III and King Louis of Scots. Scotland soon became prosperous in its new relationship to Rhineland and France.
