An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

Scolla was a yellow-white main sequence star in Wild Space. It was the parent star of the Scolla system, as well as gravitational anchor. With a radius of 8.75 x 105 and mass of 3.06 x 1030, it was about average for a star of its class. Scolla, being relatively hot (6500 K) and bright (2.25 x 1027 W) provided the much needed light and warmth to the sole habitable world of Scolla III.

The center of the star's habitable zone was 2.42 Astronomical Units away from the parent, the sole habitable world, was 1.89 AU from the star, putting it near the inner edge of the habitable zone. The outer edge of the habitable zone was 2.95 AU away from the parent.
