History: The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, One of Dixie's shows was interrupted by the Ghost of Colonel Beauregard, who frightened her audience away. When the gang arrived to see her show, they instead saw a whole crowd of people fleeing from the boat. Dixie made fried chicken for Shaggy and Scooby, but wouldn't give it to them until they caught the ghost. It was eventually revealed that the ghost was trying to steal an emerald necklace that originally belonged to Magnolia, Colonel Beauregard's fiancee who left him at the altar after the ship's old captain framed him for stealing the necklace, then hid it on the boat. Dixie disguised herself as Magnolia's ghost and took the necklace back from Beauregard after he tried to run off with it. The resulting chase led to the capture of Beauregard's ghost, who was really Pops Baloney, the ship's janitor. Appearances: The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, 110(a). Showboat Scooby
