A relatively young race, there are few differences between a typical Rolani and baseline humans. If not for the somewhat harsh conditions on their homeworld of Rolan as well as a program of selective accelerated breeding, the Rolani might very well have never come into being. Highly pragmatic by nature, most Rolani have been quick to adopt this new way of thinking.

abstract
| - A relatively young race, there are few differences between a typical Rolani and baseline humans. If not for the somewhat harsh conditions on their homeworld of Rolan as well as a program of selective accelerated breeding, the Rolani might very well have never come into being. Rolani were made for battle. They’re larger and stronger than most humans and can handle an inordinate amount of pain. Unless a Rolani is hit in a vital area, they’ll continue to fight until the battle is over. Injuries that could be considered debilitating to other races will barely faze them; even a mortal wound won’t necessarily slow a Rolani down. They’ve also developed some resistance to radiation as a necessity to block the large doses of solar radiation that bombard Rolan. Rolani have a very martial society and there are very few who don’t serve in the military for at least part of their lives; most are lifelong veterans. Until the formation of the Laro Order, it was rare to see women in positions of power due to the tenants of Rolani culture. They weren’t prevented from taking jobs or serving in the military, just achieving positions of high status. After Queen Jesika Doljian’s rise to power, this glass ceiling was promptly shattered. Highly pragmatic by nature, most Rolani have been quick to adopt this new way of thinking.
