An area of West London, historically part of Middlesex and now a part of the London Borough of Hillingdon now a commuter suburb, served by Eastcote Station. Old Eastcote, Eastcote Gardens and the Cavendish Pavillion - a popular tourist destination in the early part of the 20th century - are nearby. An outpost of Bletchley Park was based in Eastcote - the buildings were subsequently used for other government purposes and eventually demolished. More information on the Wikipedia page [1]
