Seryna Rahn was born in the Wroonian colony on Saleucami on the 25th of Melona in the year 1073 (12 BBY). She was the youngest daughter of Dran and Riema Rahn and the sixth of seven total children: Riyec (8 years older), Miran (6 years older), Sevrina (5 years older), Zeak & Zhaff (twins, 3 years older) and Kaeth (2 years younger). Family was all important in the beginning. She got along well with her parents and her siblings for just about all of her early childhood. The gang made its home in the bombed out husk of an old Separatist base near the edge of the settlement. Being with the gang really began to change Seryna. She became colder towards her family and even rebellious. This was, in part, the fault of the leader of the gang, Varik Donos, who had become her lover. He was a Weequay and not the most gentle of people. It was because of him that Seryna came to like pain, sometimes even to seek it out unnecessarily. It was her relationship with him that drove the final wedge between her and her family. Not long before she turned 18, Seryna got into a huge fight with her parents over Varik. It was this final fight that drove Seryna away from Saleucami. She was too furious at them to stay, but some part of her understood their concern so she couldn't stay with Varik either, so she just left the planet entirely. She drifted from planet to planet however she could get a ride. Sometimes it was an incongruous as helping to keep the cargo hold tidy and other times there were...other things she was required to do. She didn't care. She just wanted to keep moving. Finally, she ended up on Coruscant. After all, as the saying goes, "All spacelanes lead to Coruscant."
