The Misthalin Marine Corps Air Force, commonly known as the MMCAF, is a division of the MMC created in the year 273 of the Fifth Age, when aerial combat had first proven to be a decent way of offensive and defensive battling. When the JCCD-1 was first developed in Keldagrim, MMC commanders first saw aerial combat as an option and it was created not long after the first developments of the JCCD-1. After its creation, the MMCAF ordered 300 JCCD-1's and 1000 gnome gliders with highly trained pilots. The MMCAF now counts approximately 10,000 airmen, gnome and human, that have proven to be a formidable foe in aerial combat, providing great support for allied ground units and appearing in numerous battles.
