Herschel Sparber, (born 18 October 1943 in Gary, Indiana, United States) is an actor, voice over artist and Broadway performer. A few of his standout roles include the role of Big Jule in Broadway's revival of Guys and Dolls with Nathan Lane and Faith Prince, playing the President of the United Federation of Planets, Jaresh-Inyo, in multiple episodes of TV's Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, acting in several TV shows and specials, including a recurring character on Boy Meets World, and a multi-episode role in NYPD Blue.

In 1986, Sparber and Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Leon Rippy appeared together as hunters in the film King Kong Lives, which also featured fellow Star Trek alumni Michael Forest and Mike Starr. Sparber and Rippy later appeared in the 1998 action-comedy Traxx. The following year, he was among the several Trek performers to appear in the independent film Bloodhounds of Broadway. Among his co-stars were Star Trek: Voyager actor Ethan Phillips, fellow Deep Space Nine guest actor Stephen McHattie, Star Trek Generations actor Alan Ruck, and Voyager guest actor Googy Gress. Sparber can also be seen in such films as The Birdcage (1996, with Lee Delano and Tim Kelleher), Brother (2000), and the TV movies Columbo: Murder with Too Many Nates (2000, with Randy Oglesby and Richard Riehle) and Mystery Woman: Snapshot (2005, with Clarence Williams III and Brad Greenquist). He also lent his voice to the 1995 animated film A Goofy Movie, along with Jason Marsden, Wallace Shawn, and Frank Welker. In 2001, he was a voice in the film Osmosis Jones, as were Steve Susskind and Star Trek: The Original Series star William Shatner.
