Silver Sonic is the first robotic duplicate of Sonic the Hedgehog created by Dr. Robotnik. It was somewhat large and clunky, and nowhere near as fast as Sonic. It used jet boosters in its feet to dash across the floor and ram enemies. It could also transform into a large buzzsaw-like device and roll and jump, slicing enemies to ribbons. It was even capable of firing its spine-blades in all directions. Silver Sonic guarded the Death Egg as the penultimate boss in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and appeared as part of Attack on the Death Egg in Sonic the Comic Issue 6. It had been heavily damaged in its last encounter with Sonic but remained mostly intact, albeit with a faultering speech system. It fought with Sonic once again but was completely destroyed, with Sonic kicking the Badnik's head off.
