Roderick Williams (born May 27, 1987 in Monroe, Louisiana) is an American Football defensive back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He was drafted to the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League and spent two years there but in early 2013 he moved to the National Football League. Rod played four seasons at cornerback at Alcorn State and had his best year as a junior, recording 66 tackles, 12 pass breakups and one interception. He started as a member of the Eskimos practice roster before signing to the active roster in June 2010. He played in 12 games, making six stars, before ending the season back on the practice roster.
