When the Conqeuror was ambushed in 14 ABY near Korriban and had to make an emergency jump to Etti IV, Dauntless followed after relaying the distress call to Imperial High Command. Following the battle at Etti IV, Dauntless was reassigned to a support role for the HIMS Predator. She was destroyed in combat with the New Republic when she was subjected to heavy bombardment from X-wing fighters carrying Proton Torpedoes late in 14 ABY.
