Text
| - "Our plan has backfired, Groat. What would you suggest I do?"
- "The protestors will be silenced at once, but I will not admit to any wrongdoing."
- Alvyn runs to your side. "My [lord/lady], the people have heard of the false weights used to cheat them in the marketplace. They protest outside your doors!"
- "I won't commit more deception. We will appease the protesters fairly and on even terms."
- "Someone incited the villagers to riot as revenge for my removal of the false weights."
- Groat nods knowingly, "Likely a disgruntled merchant." Alvyn clasps his hands in disagreement, "The people are savvy. They knew they'd been deceived."
- "How would you recommend I calm the citizens, Alvyn?"
- "The people are passionate in the anger," Alvyn says, wiping sweat from his brow. "I suggest a swift and respectful response to cool their tempers."
- Groat smile, "Blame the guilty trader, and you will avoid the people's ire." Alvyn shakes his head in distaste.
- "We will silence the villagers before they spark a full rebellion across my land."
