abstract
  • Chrome Dome is an android created by Shredder. He appears in the Super NES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters, entering the tournament for a chance to have his programming changed, so that he no longer has to do Saki's bidding. Chrome Dome's appearance is slightly modified from his animated counterpart - he's much shorter, and quite a bit sleeker, looking even more like Shredder. His palette is also quite different. Chrome Dome's special techniques include telescoping his limbs to strike foes from afar, as well as having the ability to blow himself up and reconfigure his body. Chrome Dome is noted to have "Thunder Gauntlets" as a weapon; presumably this is what allows him to perform his "Chrome Spark" (an electric shock across the floor) and "Electric Pile Driver" attacks. In Chrome Dome's ending, he succeeds in extracting his warrior program and lives it up with a gynoid version of himself.
