- Tom Pepper appeared in Coronation Street in April 1980 as a Bingo Checker. This is his only credited acting role as his main occupation is as a stand-up comedian. He appeared in the long-running Granada show The Comedians and also did his routine on 3-2-1, Saturday Royal, Summertime Special, Live at the London Palladium, Live at Her Majesties and Live at the Piccadilly. He still does stand-up routines and is an after-dinner speaker.
- Tom Pepper was a survivor of the 2002 Global T-Virus pandemic. He was found by Umbrella, who required qualified mechanics to maintain their Umbrella Prime facility. He would later escape on a submarine with Judy Gordon.
- Tom auditions for the role, and blows the crew, including Jerry Seinfeld and George Costanza, away with his likeness to Kramer and his ability to re-create Kramer's mannerisms and quirks. He steals a box of raisins during his auditions, but only George notices. George constantly tries to get Pepper to admit that he stole the raisins, only to be denied. He is later seen eating from a box of raisins before the taping of the pilot. Unlike Kramer, Pepper is level-headed, but has an extremely violent streak, threatening George with death and violent punishments.
