| - The adventurers gather at a local tavern eating dinner with Cha Ral Ells. A crazed T'skrang (not D'zurr) with a white shock of a crest rushes in and babbles incoherently. It turns out that the T'skrang's party was slain, but not before they found a magical scepter. This scepter has some sort of value to Cha Ral Ells, and so the party is sent to retrieve it. Unfortunately, due to the public scene the T'skrang made, several other adventuring parties also caught wind of the scepter and ventured off to claim it on their own. The other parties engaged in fighting with each other as soon as they left the tavern. The party intervened on the behalf of adventuring dwarves, only to be betrayed later when asked to join forces (the party was offered poisoned wine, which D'zurr and Dharlomei drank, but not Herald). In the dungeon, the party also ran into a bald elf and several thugs seen previously in the Library caper, as well as a party of Orks and a wizard. Herald finds a small gold statue, while Dharlomei is caught and nearly cut in half by a mantrap. In the largest chamber, a battle royale took place with all of the adventuring parties and two Wormskull horrors. This chamber also had the scepter, embedded in a rock. Not wanting to face the Wormskulls, Herald and Dharlomei went for the scepter while D'zurr charged and attacked one of the Wormskulls (along with some of the other adventuring parties). Eventually, the bald elf freed the scepter and Herald and Dharlomei chased after the elf, stunning him and knocking him out eventually. D'zurr is grievously wounded by the Wormskull and is forced to make a retreat. The party is paid 60 gold for the retrieval of the scepter. Cha Ral Ells says something to the effect of "Ah, it is good to have possession of the scepter again", leaving the party to wonder how the old man was able to have possession of a relic that was in a lost city for the past few centuries.
