The Lost Lanterns refers to a specific group of Green Lanterns who were believed killed during the "Emerald Twilight" incident. Several of these allegedly deceased Lanterns actually survived Hal Jordan's murderous attack, including Arisia, Boodikka, Kreon and Hannu. These Lanterns were discovered again years later on the planet Biot as prisoners of Hank Henshaw, the Cyborg Superman. After the rise of the Red Lantern Corps, the Guardians dispatched the Lost Lanterns to secure the prison planet of Ysmault though the Lanterns themselves sought to retrieve the body of their fallen comrade Laira. Once arriving there, they battled against Atrocitus and his rage filled Red Lanterns only for both sides to be attacked by the newly risen undead Black Lantern Corps which included Laira as well as the
