Islam is the state religion of the United Arab Emirates. More than 80% of the population of the United Arab Emirates are non-citizens. These estimates differ from census figures because census figures do not count "temporary" visitors and workers, and Bahá'ís and Druze are counted as Muslim. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the largest mosque in the country, and the 8th largest mosque in the world.
