- The Count is one of the Muppet characters on Sesame Street, performed by Jerry Nelson.

- The Count was the owner of Castle Fairfax after the disappearance of the previous owner, the renowned alchemist Leo Head. The Count was a ruthless man, and the years of his tenancy were turbulent ones for the citizens of Bowerstone. There were rumours of the Count conducting dark and unholy rituals in the castle, and people would disappear, never to be seen again. The Count's dark reign ended when the Fairfax family came into possession of the castle. His name is probably a reference to Bram Stoker's character Count Dracula.
- The Count is the mysterious figure who has been lurking behind the 79Cortinaz since their foundation. Some say he was the founding drummer of the band, others say he is an amazing drummer, who is also a bit of a lunatic. Ether way, 79Cortinaz are glad to him in their ranks.
- The Count is a boss and the minor antagonist in MediEvil 2. He is a master Vampire claming to be 1,000 years old. He also claims to have personally vanquished hundreds of would-be-heroes and sought to kill Dan for disturbing his rest.
- The buttons on Stewie's phone in "Model Misbehavior" are Big Bird, Grover, Ernie, and The Count. In the "Family Guy Viewer Mail No. 1" segment entitled "Supergriffins", Peter and Brian Griffin are watching Sesame Street when Peter asks whether The Count has ever killed someone for their blood, as vampires stereotypically do. Brian accurately points out that no such episode has aired. He is voiced by Seth MacFarlane.
