These are the predictions I made prior to E3 2008. As you can see, the only one that came true was "more information on Wii Music, which was also the most obvious. I'm of course surprised that Kid Icarus didn't make the cut - the same goes for a sequel to New Super Mario Bros.

I'm of course surprised that Kid Icarus didn't make the cut - the same goes for a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. * Kid Icarus - This is pretty obvious. Pit, the protagonist, was one of the major character announcements for Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the heavy amount of supposed concept art that has been released on the internet, not to mention the requests by many fans tells me, and probably you, something. * A redesigned DS - The Game Boy had three designs, so I’m expecting the same for DS. What it would include is beyond me, though a Shop Channel similar to the Wii’s would be pretty cool, though of course it would need a hard drive of some sort, and those things aren't cheap! Who knows, maybe the sequel to the DS will be announced here altogether! It’s about four years, hasn’t it? * More info on Wii Music - Something that will obviously be here. Miyamoto recently said in an interview that Wii Music is coming together nicely, so some sort of announcement will probably be at E3. Of all the Wii series games (Sports, Play and Fit), Wii Music is actually the one I’m looking most forward to - as long as it doesn’t have any Guitar Hero like accessories (I’ve enough of those games in my collection!). Besides, Nintendo is all about innovation and this would contradict the message they’ve been spreading to all their fans if they were to announce a game similar to Guitar Hero. * A New Super Mario Bros. sequel - The original on Nintendo DS was so successful. In fact, to this day it is one of the best selling games of all time. It's been a couple years since it was released, and it's about time Nintendo announces a sequel. Hey, who knows, maybe they'll even announce a successor to Super Mario Galaxy (if this is true, don't expect any footage. NSMB2, on the other hand, may be playable if it is indeed announced).
