Gilles Boisvert (born February 15, 1933 in Trois-Rivières, Quebec) is a retired professional hockey goaltender who played in three games for the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL in the 1959-60 season. He played junior hockey mostly in his hometown of Trois-Rivières, Quebec but did split the 1952-53 season between the Barrie Flyers and the Kitchener Canucks. In 1963-64 Boisvert found his way to the Baltimore Clippers of the American Hockey League where he spent the last seven seasons of his career. He retired in 1970.

  • Gilles Boisvert (born February 15, 1933 in Trois-Rivières, Quebec) is a retired professional hockey goaltender who played in three games for the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL in the 1959-60 season. He played junior hockey mostly in his hometown of Trois-Rivières, Quebec but did split the 1952-53 season between the Barrie Flyers and the Kitchener Canucks. In 1953 he left junior and played senior hockey with the Amherst Meteors and then turned pro with the Sydney Millionaires of the Maritime Major Hockey League. He was claimed by the Boston Bruins on June 1, 1955, from the Montreal Royals and then was traded 2 days later to the Detroit Red Wings. That trade led to his only NHL stint - 3 games to replace an injured Terry Sawchuk in the 1959-60 season. After that season Boisvert resumed his career in the mnor pros. In 1963-64 Boisvert found his way to the Baltimore Clippers of the American Hockey League where he spent the last seven seasons of his career. He retired in 1970.
