The Retaliation Sword Blast (腹癒せ剣爆風, Haraiseken Bakufū) is technique which can be employed with a katana. It uses the blade to absorb the force of an enemy's attack, to not only block and completly nullify the effects of said attack, but also to deflect the force back along its original course. Much like another technique utilized with a gunbai, this redirection occurs both suddenly and unexpectedly, making it difficult for opponents to evade the reflected attack. Alternatively, the force of multiple blocked techniques can be absorbed and stored, before unleashing it completely against an opponent in a destructive tornado-like blast.
