- This pretty blonde woman was being threatened by a man with a type of flame-thrower and the image of a green witch is rising above (or out of) her in response to the threat. Running down the stairs to the rescue appears to be the Pioneer. But was the Witch friend or foe? Nobody will ever know because she was a mere cover-only character whose story was never told.
- Karen Wickham, code name the Green Witch, and a member of the Wickham Family, is one of Cincinnati's superheroes and a member of SPECTRUM. She has an apparently at least semi-sentinent power staff and a secret grotto with a Pool of Vigor that has healing powers. There is a a $50K bounty on her head, presumably by some criminal organization she interfered with in the past. She owns a stately mansion that she inherited; this is above her hidden grotto that contains the Pool of Vigor and other things, including a picture of her arch-enemy, Lady Jettatura, with a sigil of blindness.

abstract
| - Karen Wickham, code name the Green Witch, and a member of the Wickham Family, is one of Cincinnati's superheroes and a member of SPECTRUM. She has an apparently at least semi-sentinent power staff and a secret grotto with a Pool of Vigor that has healing powers. There is a a $50K bounty on her head, presumably by some criminal organization she interfered with in the past. Her several times great grandmother agreed to an infernal contract for power, which she has inherited, along with other power sources her line has obtained. She's the 7th in the line, and she has to cancel out the contract with a sufficient amount of Grace (good deeds) to balance the debts her ancestors have incurred, or she (and the rest of them), along with everything she owns, material or metaphysical, will belong to 'The Peddler'. Anyone with physical possession of the contract book can invoke its power, for which she is still liable. She owns a stately mansion that she inherited; this is above her hidden grotto that contains the Pool of Vigor and other things, including a picture of her arch-enemy, Lady Jettatura, with a sigil of blindness. She's taken in Stacy Conrad.
