Galaxy ended up having a really good contest and Pokémon ended up having a really bad contest, but you wouldn't know that by looking at this match. Forget the final score for a second. Only 55% of people had Galaxy winning two matches? That is some serious lack of respect, even for a game more than deserving of a Game of the Decade title boost or whatever we're calling it. So of course Galaxy goes out and shocks us against Zelda while Pokémon goes and craps the bed.

And then you look at the actual score and just shake your head. Failing to break 60% on RSE when you start comfortably over is embarrassing, and it falls in line with that Nintendo series poll where Pokémon actually finished above Mario. So of course Galaxy goes out and shocks us against Zelda while Pokémon goes and craps the bed. To be fair the oracle mostly got this right, but this was back when Galaxy was getting no respect. Now, it's clear Galaxy got a contest title boost and just had a weird match along the way. It's reasonable Galaxy was stuck with the LOL Wii stuff and ran into something that could take advantage of it. And since I made fun of Menji's picture last match, let me just say this one rocked face. He did both sides, and the whole image is damn awesome.
