| - Dark Lord (real name: Stroud) is one of the antagonists of Sword of Mana and Adventures of Mana.
- "Dark Lord" is a term that has been applied to many powerful individuals, deemed evil or corrupt by convention. More specifically it was given to Orghuz after his possession by The Malice and hints that the title in this case may be associated with the potential that The Malice is one of the ancient Dark Lord deities, whose influence extends beyond the Void.

- The Dark Lord or Dark Lady, Black Knight or Dark Knight is a class of characters and enemies. As far as weapon and armor goes, they are comparable to fighters and knights, though they cannot wield any holy or blessed equipment and are adept at using scythe-type weapons. Unlike the conventional warrior classes, black knights can cast potent black magic, but their spell repertoire has a more limited scope than that of purely-magical classes, being limited to a very narrow set of spells that usually focus on raw firepower rather than subtle effects. - Dark Lords are vampiric undead that are found in the Durance of Hate in Act III except for the third level where Mephisto and their tougher counterparts, the Blood Lords, reside. They usually are found in groups, and attack with a variety of range skills such as Fireball, Walls of Fire, Meteors and the vampiric Leech-life Ball. These monsters will prefer to hang back and utilize their range attacks to cause damage, but will not hesitate to use claw attacks if those should be more appropriate. They will occasionally flee when their health reaches critical levels.
