The Committee of State Security (Russ: Комитет государственной Безопасности/Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti), better known by its acronym of KGB, is the foreign intelligence and security service of Alaska. The KGB was formed in 1949 by the Foreign Intelligence Law, which created a separate agency to handle increasing needs for a fluid, independent foreign intelligence agency apart from the Alaskan Security and Intelligence Service (ABIS).
