Reverend Julius Hanks († 14 August 1907 PD) was a Grayson citizen and First Elder of the Church of Humanity Unchained. In 1903 PD, Reverend Hanks attended a meeting to discuss the request of support made by Captain Honor Harrington of the Star Kingdom of Manticore. He was concerned that Captain Harrington would withdraw and leave the system if she was refused. (HH2) Reverend Hanks was killed when he jumped in front of Steadholder Harrington when she was shot at by Edward Martin after their pinnace had been shot down. He was succeeded by Jeremiah Sullivan.
