- Select is a TV program about video games that started to air from December 25, 1999 to the present day. It's also the flagship program of AxiomTechTV.

- Select (Japanese: 選（せん）択（たく） Sentaku) is an outdated term used in card texts prior to the Problem-Solving Card Text update. "Select" indicates that a player decides which card is affected. "Select" usually indicated that a card targets (the absence of "select" did not mean a card does not target). Some cards that used to say "select", such as "Creature Swap" and "A Cat of Ill Omen", do not target; such cards now use "choose" to specify that a player decides which card without targeting.

The parents of those children who pass the test are given money to bring up the infant in the approved manner. When a ruler dies, the select are summoned by messengers who travel the countryside, leaving secret symbols in traditional locations. They must make their way to Kazan, enter the great Mazes and obtain as many as the Clan Medallions as possible. - Units are selected for beneficial or nominally benign actions. This is the same thing as targeting, and the terms are used interchangeably, although the implied intent is different. Left clicking a PC, NPC, or mob will select it. Right clicking is used for more direct interaction; it selects and will open a dialog with a friendly NPC if the NPC has a dialog for you, but it will target and auto-attack a hostile NPC or a neutral or hostile mob if it is within range of your melee weapon(s), or if it is within range of your ranged weapon if you are playing a hunter and have autoshot turned on.
