George Rowe was the security guard of the clinic that Miles Holling, the World's Oldest Man, was staying in. Specifically, he was stationed as Holling's sector's security guard. He was murdered by Dennis Gammill prior to Miles Holling on the same night. Gammill broke into his house and murdered George Rowe (presumably while the latter was feeding his three pet snakes, one of which was already loose inside the house, due to the cage being open when his body was discovered as well as his body being just past the door near the cage) to gain his clearance to sneak into the building, although not without being bitten by one of the snakes. He made a mistake, however: He misspelled George Rowe's name when writing out the pass, something that no sensible person could have done with their own name.
