Hasemi is credited with the fastest lap at his only Formula One Grand Prix. The Japanese driver's lap on 1:18.23, however, was actually recorded due to a measurement error on the part of the race organisers. The true fastest lap was a 1:19.97 by Jacques Laffite. Despite an official correction, most sources still record Hasemi as the holder of the fastest lap.
