Atrocitus then bites him in order to learn what he knows. He sees a conversation between Skallox, Zilius Zox, Bleez, and Ratchet but only hears part of what is said. Atrocitus drags Skallox to the Blood Ocean and throws him in then tells Zilius Zox and Ratchet to jump in too. Bleez tells him that they will not be able to survive the process and he has just condemned them to madness. Ratchet remembers back to his home world, where absolute isolation has led to most disease being eradicated, crime only existing on a philosophical level, and great longevity for its people. Any physical contact is greatly illegal but Ratchet feels the need to make real friends. Before Ratchet and his cohorts could reveal themselves to each other, they are fired upon and arrested by the Isolation Police. Atrocitus reflects on the words he heard in his vision to Krona. Atrocitus sees someone hiding in the shadows and pursues them but they elude him. He goes out to space to answer cries of rage. He goes to Space Sector 0495 where a sect blinds its daughters at puberty. He later destroys the Temple of Unseeing where blinded girls are forces to be slaves for a year. He then goes to Earth to avenge a starving family then kill a man who left his family. In England, Raymond Moore begs his brother, John, to help him hide from the police. John refuses and the police show up. Back on Ysmault, Skallox begins to remember back to before he became a part of the Red Lantern Corps. An alien named Lancer questions him about the location of something called the Cyber Eggs and Skallox says he has no idea where they are and begs him to remember all the work he has done for him. Lancer tells the two restraining Skallox to get the truth out of him and to use the Oven. Atrocitus reflects on the decision to restore the consciousnesses of the three Red Lanterns and reinforces his stand that it was a risk worth taking. He returns to where he kept Krona's corpse and sees it missing.
