Half-orcs start with -10 points in the thievery skill, and a resistance of 10 against fire, cold, and electricity. They have +2 hit points and -2 spell points per level. Half-orcs have the worst chance of becoming decent spellcasters or robbers, but can become great frontline fighters. A high-level half-orc knight or barbarian will end up with a lot of hit points. Maximus is the pre-made half-orc character in the game.
