Hotels are Captive Control buildings in Tropico 2: Pirate Cove that provide resting for up to 8 wealthy captives. Although quite expensive, they generally pay for themselves in the long run if you have a lot of wealthy captives, and they don't require any workers. The only other building that provides resting for wealthy captives is the Inn, which provides much lower resting satisfaction as well as drinking and feasting, but on the other hand, provides much more income if set to Gouge Em. The hotel emanates order and is therefore best built away from a pirate zone, preferably near a captive workzone.
