abstract	Bornth was a young Gand who earned to right to use his family name after being accepted into the Jedi Order. He was taught under the instruction of Caitlin Voss and looked forward to the day when he would become a Jedi Knight - in part because it would mean he would also earn the right to a first name under Gand tradition. During the Battle of Onderon, Caitlin and her students were on a trip in the jungle where they became the target for three members of the Cult of Shadow. While Caitlin was forced to leave to hunt down the Darksiders, Bornth ended up becoming the group's de-facto guardian. He would soon be put to the test when one of the cult members managed to locate the students. Despite not even having a lightsaber, Bornth bravely stood his ground as he tried to protect those under his charge. Although he managed to delay the cult member, he was soon cut down by the much more powerful enemy. Bornth died without knowing that his sacrifice bought enough time for Caitlin to arrive and take care of the Darksider, but the noble Gand’s actions would never be forgotten.
