The 2012 European Black Album Tour (Also known as the The Metallica Vacation Tour 2012) is a concert tour by American heavy metal band Metallica. The tour payed homage to the 20th anniversary of the band's most commercially successful self-titled album, more commonly known as "The Black Album." The tour would be sixteen shows long and featured the band playing the album in it's entirety for the first time ever (in reverse order though), with the live debuts of Don't Tread on Me, My Friend of Misery, and The Struggle Within. The shows also saw a short intro clip (which can be viewed here) that Metallica themselves put together to be played before playing the album's songs.
