Synopsis
| - In Germany, Adolf Hitler compliments Wernher von Braun on his work as Wernher receives a new bionic arm. Hitler informs Wernher that he will build rockets that will help him purge the world, and unlimited resources will be at his disposal.
Elsewhere, Richard Feynman gets ready in the morning and tells himself in the mirror how smart and handsome he is. The woman who he had a one-night stand with is told to be silent. He continues telling himself how attractive he is.
At the War Department, Feynman arrives via helicopter where soldiers inform him the Red Torii is read for him. Making small talk, he tels the solider they loose .005% of their body mass every time they molecular jump. He postulates what could be missing could be water, or something more exotic. He reads a letter and he's shocked by the contents.
At Containment Area Alpha, Feynman informs Albert Einstein he's been instructed to bring him with on his jump to Los Alamos. Einstein quips about how the fat man finally needs him and has denied him his freedom he was promised. Feynman inspects the strange contraption in his room, and Einstein tells him not to touch it as they leave.
They pass Death Buddhists that are dying. Feynman tells him they captured them after a failed Japanese invasion and now use the Red Torii to make jumps.
As they jump to Los Alamos, they are greeted by Groves and the scientists. They are played a message from President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Roosevelt informs them they have the Germans on the run. He has authorized operation paperclip to leverage German scientists to help win the war.
They agree to see what the Germans know. When asked who can fly, only Feynman doesn't know how.
Over Germany, Feynman is thrown from a plan to infiltrate the enemy and Torii gate jump back. He lands in an American camp.
At Oberammergau, Wernher von Braun gives the order for them to drink a deadly mixture to keep themselves from being taken by the invading US army outside their base. He looks for a hiding Helmutt but assumes he was killed by an explosion. As Feynman enters, Wernher von Braun recognizes him as an equal. He tells him he had the world's most advanced rocket technology, but he has killed all the scientists to keep their knowledge from being stolen by the Americans.
