Phillip Leon "Chip" Myers (July 9, 1945 in Panama City, Florida – February 23, 1999 in Long Lake, Minnesota) was a wide receiver who played nine Pro Football seasons, for the NFL San Francisco 49ers in 1967, the AFL's Cincinnati Bengals in 1969, and the NFL's AFC Bengals from 1970 through 1976. During the 1968 season, he played minor league football with the (Huntsville) Alabama Hawks of the Continental Football League, where he averaged almost 22 yards per catch. He later was an assistant coach with the Minnesota Vikings for four seasons. He died of a heart attack.
