| - Vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of a Wiki. Examples of typical vandalism are adding irrelevant obscenities and crude humor to a page, illegitimately blanking pages, and inserting obvious nonsense into a page. Fortunately, this kind of vandalism is usually easy to spot. Users in our community should recognize such acts for what they are (i.e. "I was joking," or "I didn't mean it" are unacceptable!), and report them to the nearest admin or rollback. Vandalism should not be accepted on any wiki and should be dealt with in formal way, so we don't encourage the vandal to ruin more pages. Don't socialize with the vandal, you should "act", not "react". Reacting to such behavior will make the vandal feel as if they has got what they came for: A reaction from the users. Note that in order for something to be considered vandalism, it must be done in "bad faith". Though the Internet makes it difficult to determine a person's intentions, problems such as those listed above are obviously done in bad faith for whatever reason. Other problems, such as users testing their abilities to edit, making accidental mistakes, and learning wiki markup, are less clear cut — they can easily be attributed to a new user with good intentions who just does not know how Watch Dogs Wiki works. In this instance, you should instead kindly inform that user of how to properly use editing tools to help them along.
