It consists of: Fiji, the Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu in Melanesia; the Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Nauru, and Palau in Micronesia; and Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu in Polynesia. Oceania claims several territories currently administered by other states. With the European Republic, Oceania disputes New Caledonia in Melanesia, and French Polynesia, the Pitcairn Islands, and Wallis and Futuna in Polynesia. With the North American Republic, Oceania actively disputes Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Wake Island in Micronesia, and American Samoa in Polynesia. Oceania also maintains inactive claims on the North American territory of Hawaii and the South American Easter Islands in Polynesia and the Galápagos Islands.
