Jane Marie Genevieve Wiedlin (born May 20, 1958) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and actress. She is best known as the rhythm guitarist of the all-female New Wave band The Go-Go's.

- Jane Marie Genevieve Wiedlin was born on May 20, 1958, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. She was raised in Southern California, where she met Belinda Carlisle. They later joined up with three other girls to form the 1980s rock band The Go-Gos. Wiedlin played rhythm guitar, wrote many of its hit songs, and made four movies in the 1980s.

Ihre erste Filmrolle hatte Wiedlin im Jahr 1985 als singendes Telegramm-Girl im Film Clue (u.a. mit Michael McKean und Christopher Lloyd). Bekannt dürfte auch ihr Auftritt als Jeanne d’Arc im Film Bill & Ted's verrückte Reise durch die Zeit (1989, u.a. mit Rod Loomis, Hal Landon Jr., Bernie Casey, Dan Shor, Marjean Holden und J. Patrick McNamara) sein. Des Weiteren war sie in den Filmen Dornröschen (1987), Oatmeal (1994, u.a. mit Heinrich James), Angels! (2000), Firecracker (2005), Stuck! (2009) und The Mandalorian Legacy (2009) zu sehen. Zudem trat sie in einer Folge der Serie Ein Witzbold namens Carey (2000, u.a. mit Diedrich Bader und John Carroll Lynch) zusammen mit ihren The Go-Go's-Kolleginnen auf. As a teenager, "Empress Jane" Wiedlin was a huge fan of the pop group Sparks, and would record the song "Cool Places" with them years later. Her current band, froSTed, came out with their first CD in late 1996. The reason the "ST" in froSTed is capitalized is that Wiedlin is a huge Star Trek fan. As a result, she appeared in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986).
