The Alaskan Socialist Republic (Russian: Аляскинская Социалистическая Республика, Alyaskinskaya Sotsialisticheskaya Respublika), often abbreviated as the A.S.R. (А.С.Р.), was a former socialist state that included much of modern day Alaska. The ASR was proclaimed in 1923 by the Nooshagak Soviet and would later expand to include much of northern Russian America (roughly corresponding to the modern day governorates of Aleutia, Bering, the Far North, New Irkutsk, and Shelikof, with the Yukon under dispute).

The state existed until being occupied by democratic forces in 1939, leading to its incorporation into the Alaskan Democratic Federative Republic a few months later. The government fled Nooshagak prior to the occupation, forming the short-lived Aleut Soviet Socialist Republic which would later only have say in the Komandorski Islands (leading to tensions decades down the line). Today, Shelikof is regarded as a successor state in many regards, even retaining the symbols of the former ASR.
