The Waltz meter is a common time signature with a rhythm equal to 3/4 time in music. Waltz meter usually consists of three quarter notes and emphasis on musical beat is usually in the first or the last beat of a measure. This type of rhythm is most commonly found in music with waltz or dance themes, hence the name. Some modern popular music also use this musical pattern as well.
