Not wanting to follow in his grandmother or his evil uncle Red Banshee's foot steps Crimson Canary sought out the help of Black Canary to aid him in controlling his sonic cry when he came of age. It didn't take long for him to find her and after he explained to her his situation a lineage she took him under her wing as her first progeny Crimson Canary.

THE GLAMOUR SLAM
Jaron was one of the many young heroes to fall victim to Roulette's Glamour Slam, an event wear homosexual young heroes were forced to fight each other for entertainment. Jaron quickly become the star attraction consecutively winning match after match with his impressive skill and Canary Cry. Nighthunter Jaron's former lover noticed Jaron was highly off his game easily being over powered by a third rate mugger in his normal super hero life. Nighthunter followed Jaron back to the arena where he discovered he was participating in the fights. When Nighthunter tried to confront Jaron he without warning began to attack him. The two are ambushed by Roulette's men and kidnapped. While being held in a cell they two heroes figure out that Roulette's using the new Titan's communicators to control them.
Instead of just killing the two captive prisoners Roulette decided she would force them to fight to the death in the ring. Jaron and Nighthunter are put up against Hawkboy and Kid Vixen in the first match and with some luck manage to help them break free of Roulette's control. After the four heroes refuse to fight each other Roulette released Wonderboy into the ring. Jaron as well as the other three heroes were well aware of the enormous power Wonderboy possessed and immediately began to fight for their lives. Jaron assisted Hawkboy in breaking the barrier keeping them trapped which allowed Nighthunter a chance to take Roulette out while the other three young heroes held Wonderboy off. Jaron was knocked out in the middle of the fight but when he became conscious everything was back to normal.
After most of the heroes returned home Nighthunter and Jaron had a conversation that ended on a bad note.
TITAN'S BLUDHAVEN
Jaron was one of the many to be scouted by Wonder Girl to become a founding member of the Titan's Bludhaven. He does express some discomfort being on the same team as Nighthunter but handles it maturely.
