Mirar is an Immortal and a Dreamweaver. He created the cult of the Dreamweavers but does not consider himself to be the ruler of it. On the Gods orders Juran of the White buried Mirar under a Dreamweaver house and believed to have killed him. But Mirar survived just. He hid his being in an alternate persona who he named Leiard. Mirar was not aware that he was hiding himself. He had all but forgotten about it, and as Leiard, was wondering whether he had any kind of childhood or the like. He lived in a faraway village, where Auraya grew up, who was his friend (despite the large age difference). When her mother dies, Leiard finds himself compelled to deliver the message of her death to Auraya (the messenger paid by Auraya's father is not diligent, and Leiard finds out as he is on his way to the city of the White Priests anyway). That is when he learns that Auraya not only is a priestess of the Circle, but also a White. After overcoming his shock, he agrees to become the White's advisor on Dreamweaver matters, which brings him to work closely with Auraya. All the time, he is getting panick attacks around the Tower where the Whites reside, and he also is experiencing memories of Mirar, which he cannot really explain.
