Samuel Woolley Taylor (February 5, 1907 - September 26, 1997) was an American novelist, scriptwriter, and historian who wrote A Situation of Gravity which became the 1961 science-fiction comedy film, along with its sequel and its 1997 remake, The Absent-Minded Professor.
