Bideau worked as production coordinator on the first season of the television comedy series Caroline in the City (1995-1996, starring Amy Pietz). Between 1999 and 2000 she wrote the stories for five episodes of the animated television series Recess. For one of these episodes she received a Humanitas Prize nomination in the category Children's Animation Category in 2000. Bideau also wrote an episode of the animated series Teamo Supremo in 2002.

With a Bachelor's degree in dance she worked on films, television series and as a professional dancer, as intern at Columbia Pictures Television, and as a freelance writer for Disney ABC Television Group before she started her own company Libby Pilates in Venice, California where she has been teaching yoga and pilates professionally since 1998.
