The 1996 Jacksonville Jaguars Season was their second season of play in the NFL, and the Jaguars continued to be coached by Tom Coughlin. The season surprised many, as the Jaguars won six straight to achieve a 9-7 record and postseason berth. There, the Jagaurs would go all the way to the AFC Championship game where their improbable run ended, the team losing 20-6 to the New England Patriots.
