Jamie Shore was a midfielder who joined Rovers from Norwich City in the summer of 1998, and spent four years with the Pirates. His time with Rovers was blighted by serious knee problems, and he went under the knife a number of times. His knee trouble eventually brought a premature end to his career, and although he tried making a comeback in the non-league game, he eventually made the decision to hang up his boots for good.

| - Jamie Shore was a midfielder who joined Rovers from Norwich City in the summer of 1998, and spent four years with the Pirates. His time with Rovers was blighted by serious knee problems, and he went under the knife a number of times. His knee trouble eventually brought a premature end to his career, and although he tried making a comeback in the non-league game, he eventually made the decision to hang up his boots for good. After giving up the professional game, Jamie made a number off appearances as an expert summariser in BBC Radio Bristol football commentaries, and he also opened Jamie Shore Soccer International, a soccer school providing training for local youngsters. All of Jamie's first team appearances for Rovers came in the 1998-99 season, when he played in 24 league games (starting 18 and coming off the bench six times), scoring twice. He also played in four FA Cup matches and one Football League Trophy game, scoring twice in the cup and once in the trophy.
