Director Benny Von Injoface is one of the five mythological "Bureaucrats of the Universal Bureau of Fictitious Literature", according to Explorer. His job is to approve or reject edits to the universe and to maintain order in the BoF, making sure that no one breaks the rules. Unfortunately, he is so dedicated to his job that he loves the COC "more than his own mother", so he claims. He is also corrupt and abuses his powers to benefit himself and his family.

quotetext
  • *I don't think I've described Benny's cold, cold apathy well enough for you, dear reader. **Benny has no regard for what he approves or rejects, only if it defies the COC. If a beloved character got smashed by a car in the climax of a romance story, sying instantly, he would approve it without thinking of the mourning families incurred. It meets the COC's requirements of instantenous death, so on it goes. **Benny does not care about the employees, just employee productivity. **If someone gets hurt on the job, Benny would just travel by while telling him or her to "walk it off" and get back to work. **Benny approved the Pie War AND Billy May's death. **Benny approved Kirbguin.
  • "What is Benny?", you ask.
  • Benny lacks guilt and only rejects if it blatently and outright disobeys the COC. More often than not, he will allow something nasty if it can be interpreted enough. This includes death, if it is painless.
  • Morals are of no question to Benny, and neither are outcomes. If it gets the job done, do it. Director Benny does not consider ethics, rather, it only matters if it rigidly adgeres to his precious COC, one of the few things, besides power, his job, and money, that he expresses feelings towards. If Director Benny had to chase someone down, and, through that chase, they collapsed and died instantly- partially in result to that chase but also to medical conditions -he would not express sympathy: "I am guiltless. She ran, I pursued.". Maybe he'd follow it up with "Better get back to my office, I've got a quota to meet.", if he was in a decent mood.
  • Anti-Benny movements in the BOF range from throwing him to the curb, or simple ones like
  • Benny is an evil, twisted creature with a corrupted mind and conscience. He thinks only about himself and his family, and he must be in TOTAL control. Almost everything he does is to benefit himself. He wants things done immediately, and he's very strict and organized. He doesn't want to have anything to do with chaos, besides being the cause of it. He has little to no conscience, and thinks of others as they were characters in a story and didn't matter at all besides advancing the plot. For example, if someone important had to be sacrificed in order to save the other characters' bacon and create a tragic atmosphere, Benny wouldn't hesitate approving it as long as it went along with the COC. He would simply say, "The story needs to progress." There is still a bit of good left in him, though. It was tarnished and shrunken by the pressure from the rest of Benny's relatives for him to do well and become a good Von Injoface, and no one can ever say for sure whether that good will ever be realized and Benny's evil redeemed.
  • Director Benny builds his power on fright. Without a pesky conscience, Benny can do most anything to seize his way, and he does so.
  • Director Benny is not above lesser measures to do what he wants. Remember, he approved the Un-CP.
  • Benny is corruption. Benny is evil. Benny... is a Disney Villain.
  • Indeed, that one has made some progress.
  • Relentless and unmerciful, Director Benny is the most evil of the Injofaces, and he shows no sign of relenquishing his power.
  • So, you asked me: what is Director Benny?
  • Benny is not your average Injoface. Benny is not even fit to be a puffle. A dark and heartless being that sees no feelings in others, he solely cares about the productivity in his office and secretly refers to his employees and the universe as "penguin resources", or, according to some rumors, "his little playthings".
  • Nay, you are not requesting a definition of Benny, but a definition of corruption itself.
  • Benny measures his success by his productivity, not by if he has done right for the Universe. Did he approve one good, universe saving thing? Eh, that's a rather slow day. ...-BUT... what about twenty four cheap stubs? Excellent numbers, he met his quota!
  • Oh, and the corruption; oh, the CORRUPTION! If it benefits an Injoface, he'll let it through with priority! Why else is Maverick an HQA, while Reserved is stalled? He takes your tax money to fund his whims and his family, and he cons innocent laymen into serving him, like one big chess game.
  • Any good left in him has been suppressed and crushed into the corner of his being and shoved there, covered by the blackness of his apathetic attitude. Benny makes Veranda look like this.
  • He is on the side of Good despite being a cold-hearted villain. Why? That is a question that no mortal can answer. I don't even know, and I'm writing this.
